Few things are more hotly-debated in the Bigfoot community than the Pro-kill vs No-kill topic. It is a subject that tends to bring out the emotions in people, and things can get heated really quick.
There was once a man by the name of Rufus "The Beast Slayer" Ray that had started a campaign to raise funds for a high-powered rifle in hopes of harvesting a Sasquatch for science, and according to him: "The sacrifice of one could save the species from extinction." Rufus passed away before he could achieve his goal (RIP) and has since inspired others to carry the torch.
Now you have several organizations like the North American Wood Ape Conservancy (NAWAC) and the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization (GCBRO); that's sole focus is to shoot a Bigfoot in order to prove to the world that Bigfoot exists. The NAWAC wants to kill an older male and refuses to hunt females or juveniles. Now, I don't know much about the GCBRO but they are the ones in this upcoming series: Killing Bigfoot. Killing Bigfoot was initially released as a one-time special on Destination America in the fall of 2014. It left people wondering if there would be more shows. And now in 2016 Destination America will be airing a new series. The show will air on T+E Networks in Canada on April 14th, and on Destination America in the fall of 2016.
I'm curious to as if anyone knows more about the GCBRO. Are they a legit group? The intial episode seemed somewhat serious, but this preview kind of reminds me of Mountain Monsters.
I'm also curious to know if you are Pro-Kill or No-Kill? Feel free to comment below.
