Researchers Use New Software to Uncover Ancient Footprints

Footprint Software

This new technology looks very interesting. Even though it's mainly being used for forensic evidence and archaeology — the thought of something like this being used on Bigfoot tracks is promising.
Researchers at Bournemouth University (BU) have developed new software, which has enabled them to uncover 'lost' tracks hidden in plain sight at the world's oldest human footprint site in Laetoli, Tanzania.
Footprints can reveal a lot about the individual who made them - such as their weight, height, and walking speed - and the software will also be used for forensic footprint analysis at crime scenes.
